What can I say about this last
minute addition to the herd? She is such a fun doe to show and so very
correct all over. Her lovely dam, Nesta, really caught my eye as I was
updating the Alder*Rose website. She is such a flashy doe with such a
lovely mammary. Tessa felt that Tyranny would be much like her dam only
longer and taller.
And Tyranny certainly didn't disappoint. A big kid from the start, she
is extremely level and wide. She has tremendous width in the escutcheon
and stands on extremely correct feet and legs. This is a showy kid
that was such fun to show this season.
Tyranny was 4X 1st Intermediate kid and 3X GCH Jr. Doe at the Mid-MN
Classic.
Tyranny sure didn't disappoint when she freshened....she is a like a
mini-me of her lovely dam GCH Nesta. She is a general appearance doe
with her perfectly level topline, smoothly blended shoulder, impressive
front end assembly and outstanding feet and legs. She also excels in
mammary with a very high, wide rear udder attachment, a beautiful rear
udder arch and long, smoothly blended fore udder. She also has great
capacity for a very young yearling milker.
Tyranny had our only "oops"
breeding this year....bred to a different buck, she was put back into
her pen. A few days later, Renegade was put in with them as a clean up
buck. Evidently Tyranny liked Renegade better than our original choice
for her and she presented us with a little polled doe kid 5 months
later. While we were certain of the sire, Grace has been DNA tested and
her parentage verified!
Tyranny will be bred to
Warlock
for April kids. 1st doe and buck retained. |
