Jazzy and her sister,
Jemma, were probably some of the flashiest kids born this year. They are
very precious little girls as Sharla lost their beloved granddam, Deliah,
just before they were born. They are a tremendous legacy to this lovely,
special doe!
Both girls excel in general appearance. They are extremely level over
their toplines, smoothly blending in their shoulders and stand on
outstanding feet and legs. They also excel in body capacity with great
depth of body and spring of rib. Jazzy is a bit smaller than her sister
but also a bit more dairy. Jemma has greater body capacity. Both does
excel in escutcheon width and arch and we can't wait to see how these
girls mature out. Both does earned their dry legs in some heavy
competition at the Mid-MN Classic.
Their dam, Josie, is a smaller framed doe also excelling in general
appearance. She stands on the same outstanding feet and legs. She has a
high wide rear udder and long smooth fore udder but I would prefer her
udder be a little less on the round side. She is our heaviest milker of
this year's first fresheners.
Both girls will be tentatively bred for spring 2027 but breeding plans
are still in the works for both. |
